Sugar Creek Outfitters is a unique set of properties situated in Schuyler County. This area in West Central Illinois is one of Illinois' premier counties for hunting big mature whitetails. In 2004 and 2005, we had the opportunity to purchase some new farms which previously had very little hunting pressure. With an intensive deer and property management program, backed by 15 years of outfitting experience and whitetail management, Sugar Creek Outfitters can now bring even more quality hunting opportunities to the discriminating sportsman.

The new properties so far have proved to be everything we hoped for and more. One of our archery hunters did the unimaginable in the fall of 2005 and killed a 200 inch gross typical that netted out at 192 5/8. As if that wasn't enough, he caught it all on professional video. (see photo on the right)

These properties have a history of producing the big bucks that have made West Central Illinois famous. The land is made up of rolling hardwood ridges and agricultural fields that include corn, soybean, alfalfa, winter wheat and some specialty food plots. Sugar Creek Outfitters is made up of six different farms totaling about 3000 huntable acres. Each of these farms offers something unique but have something in common, the chance to kill the buck of a lifetime.
